Check of pressure of oil and sensor of the index of pressure of oil

GENERAL INFORMATION

The manometer used for check of pressure of impellent oil and operability of the sensor of pressure of oil

3–wire of weight of a manometer

The manometer which can be screwed instead of the sensor of the index of pressure of oil is necessary for check. The sensor of the index of pressure of oil is on the holder of the oil filter.

CHECK

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check oil level, if necessary add.
2. Start and warm up the engine. The temperature of oil should make near +80°С. This temperature is reached, if the index of temperature of cooling liquid shows normal working temperature.
3. Turn out the relay (And) from the holder of the oil filter and screw it in a manometer.
4. Screw in the engine instead of the sensor of the index of pressure a manometer.
5. Connect to weight (–) a brown wire–3–control AUDI devices (V.A.G 1342).
6. Attach a diode control lamp an auxiliary wire to a positive cable (+) the storage battery.
7. Start the engine and slowly lift number of turns. At achievement of the pressure of oil established for this engine (address to Specifications) the light-emitting diode should go out, otherwise replace the sensor of the index of pressure.
8. Increase engine turns. At 2000 rpm and oil temperature +80°С pressure of oil should be not less than 2.0 bar
9. Lower pressure of oil indicates damage of the valve of pressure of oil, the oil pump or wear of bearings of a cranked shaft.
10. At increase of number of turns of the engine pressure of oil should not exceed 7.0 bar. Otherwise it is necessary to replace the valve of pressure of oil.
11. Establish the sensor of the index of pressure and fix it the moment of 25 N • m. At violation of tightness replace a sealing ring.
