Check and replacement of brushes of the generator and tension regulator

GENERAL INFORMATION

Removal of brushes probably without generator removal, however, for this purpose is necessary to remove the top part of the inlet pipeline.

REMOVAL

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Disconnect a negative cable (–) the storage battery at the switched-off ignition. ATTENTION Thereof information from electronic blocks of memory, as, for example, a radio receiver code is erased. Without a code the radio receiver can be included only by the manufacturer or HUNDRED AUDIS. Therefore familiarize with subsection materials Input of a code of a radio receiver.
2. Remove maple a belt, thus address to the subsection Removal and installation of a maple belt.
3. Remove the generator.
4. VALEO generator: Disconnect a protective cover of the generator.
5. Disconnect a tension regulator from a reverse side of the generator and carefully take out it.
	6. Replace brushes if their length makes 5 mm or less. For this purpose отпаяйте wire.
7. Check on wear contact rings, if necessary pierce them and grind.
8. Clear contact surfaces and check a tension of contact springs, if necessary replace.
INSTALLATION
	9. Insert brushes (And) and springs (In) in a shchetkoderzhatel (C) and solder ropes.
10. That at the soldering of new brushes to exclude solder hit on ropes, hold ropes of brushes flat-nose pliers. ATTENTION As a result of solder hit the rope becomes unduly rigid, and a brush disabled.
11. The isolating hose over a rope should be clamped near a soldering place together with an available ear.
12. Check after installation new brushes on ease of moving in shchetkoderzhatel.
13. Fix manually a tension regulator one bolt, then carefully press it into final situation and fix.
14. Fix a protective cover of the generator.
15. Establish the generator into place.
16. Establish maple a belt, thus address to the subsection Removal and installation of a ridge maple belt.
17. Attach a negative cable (–) to the storage battery. ATTENTION Make active automatic equipment of safety of electric window regulators, and also establish time and enter a radio receiver code, thus address to the subsection Removal and installation of the storage battery and to subsection Input of a code of a radio receiver.
